Adjusting differential

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Slotted nut wrench -3155-

t	Torque wrench -V.A.G 1332-

–	Tighten bearing body using slotted nut wrench -3155- against stop to 150 Nm and secure.

–	Tighten adjusting ring “on other side” to 50 Nm and mark.

–	Tighten adjusting ring 5 securing lugs further and secure.

This sets the preload for the tapered roller bearing.
