Draining torque converter

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Oil extraction unit -V.A.G 1358 A-

t	Probe -V.A.G 1358 A/1-

t	or used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782-

If the → ATF has become fouled by abrasion or when a major gearbox overhaul is being performed, drain the torque converter as follows:

–	Extract → ATF from torque converter using -V.A.G 1358 A- and probe -V.A.G 1358 A/1-.
