| Naturally aspirated diesel (engine codes AGP, AQM): only engine oil in accordance with VW standard 500 00, 501 01, 502 00, 505 00 or 505 01 or multigrade oils that meet ACEA B3/B4 standard. |
| Turbo diesel (engine codes AGR, AHF, ALH, ASV): only engine oil in accordance with VW standard 505 00 or 505 01. |

| Only engine oil that meets VW standard 506 00. |
Note | Engine oils conforming to VW standard 505 00 or 505 01 can continue to be used. The oil must then be changed every 12 months or every 15,000 km and the service interval display must be programmed accordingly. |
