Poly V-belt routing > < Removing and installing poly V-belt

Procedure
Procedure
–  Remove right noise insulation: → Rep. Gr.50.
Engine codes AGR, AHF, ALH, ASV
–  Remove charge air pipe between charge air cooler and turbocharger → Chapter.
Continuation for all engine codes
–  Mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt.
   
–  Position flat ring spanner AF 16 mm on tensioning lever and swing tensioning roller in direction of arrow.
–  Remove or fit the poly V-belt.
  Note
t  On vehicles without air conditioner, take poly V-belt off alternator first and and fit on alternator last when installing.
t  On vehicles with air conditioner, take poly V-belt off idler roller first and and fit on idler roller last when installing.
t  When installing poly-V belt, ensure that belt seats correctly in pulleys.
