Renewing crankshaft oil seal - belt pulley end > < Test procedure

Repair measures to clutch:
Engine code AGR, AHF, ALH, ASV → 5-speed manual gearbox 02J; Rep. Gr.30
Engine code AGP, AQM → 5-speed manual gearbox 02K; Rep. Gr.30
Vehicles with four-wheel drive → 5-speed manual gearbox 02C, four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.30
   
1 - Cylinder block
2 - Thrust plate/drive plate
q   Engine codes AGP, AQM
q   Removing and installing thrust plate → Fig.
3 - Washer
q   Note installation position.
4 - 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Renew
5 - Flywheel/drive plate
q   Only engine codes AGR, AHF, ALH, ASV
q   To remove and install flywheel, counterhold with 3067
q   Removing and installing drive plate → Chapter.
6 - Intermediate plate
q   Must seat on dowel sleeves.
q   Do not damage or bend when assembling.
7 - 15 Nm
8 - Sealing flange with oil seal.
q   Note different versions
q   Renew complete only.
q   Lightly oil sealing lip of oil seal
q   Sealing flange with PTFE type seal can be identified by it not having an inner spiral spring. Renew only completely. Do not additionally oil or grease the oil seal sealing lip.
q   Before installing, remove oil residue from crankshaft journal using a clean cloth.
q   Use support sleeve supplied when installing
q   Remove protective sleeve first after sealing flange has been slid onto crankshaft journal.
9 - Seal
q   Note different versions
q   PTFE seal with no inner coil spring
q   Renew → Chapter.
10 - Front sealing flange
q   Must seat on dowel sleeves.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
