| Then secure accelerator pedal position sender with preassembled cable cam to mounting block. |

| Reconnect 6-pin connector for sender |
| Fine adjustment with sender installed: |

| Depress accelerator pedal by hand until accelerator pedal lies against accelerator pedal stop. |
Note | On vehicles with automatic gearbox, the kick-down switch pressure point must be distinctly noticeable before the full throttle stop. |
| If accelerator stop is not reached or pressure point of kick-down switch is not noticeable: turn sender in elongated holes of mounting bracket. |

| Following adjustment, check sender using fault reader -V.A.G 1551- or vehicle diagnosis tester -V.A.G 1552- and cable -V.A.G 1551/3- → Chapter Checking accelerator position sender. |
