Installing > < Renewing camshaft oil seals

Removing
Removing
–  First remove both toothed belts → Chapter.
–  Turn crankshaft back slightly.
  Note
Camshaft pulleys must be locked by both positioning pins of the camshaft lock -T10016- pushed to stop in fitting holes of the camshaft housing.
–  Remove cam shaft sprockets. To loosen securing bolt of camshaft sprocket, secure with camshaft lock -T10016-.
–  Screw inner part of oil seal extractor -T10018- two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of outer part and lock using knurled screw.
–  Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor.
   
–  Screw oil seal extractor -T10018- forcibly as far as possible into oil seal.
–  Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against camshaft until oil seal is pulled out.
