Checking combination valve

Test prerequisite

l	Hose connections must be free of leaks.

Test procedure

Note

Do not use compressed air during the following check!

–	Remove engine cover.

–	Remove pressure hose -arrow- from secondary air pump motor -V101-.

Note

To release, press buttons on hose coupling together.

–	Gently blow into pressure hose to combination valve, the combination valve must be closed.

–	Blow hard into pressure hose to combination valve, the combination valve must open.

If the combination valve does not open, or is constantly open:

–	Renew combination valve.
