Checking oil pressure and oil pressure switch > < Removing and installing oil pan

Removing and installing parts of the lubrication system
Removing and installing oil pump

Removing

  • ‒ Remove sump and baffle plate .
 
A17-0209
  • ‒ → Unscrew bolt -2-.
  • ‒ Pull off chain sprocket from oil pump shaft.
  • ‒ Unscrew bolts -1- and -3- heraus and remove oil pump.

Installing

Install in reverse order. When doing this note the following:

  • ‒ Dowel sleeves=> Page 17-4 , Pos. 8 above the oil pump.
    • ‒ Installation position oil pump shaft/chain sprocket: Can only be installed in one position.
  • ‒ Remove sump and baffle plate => Page 17-11 .

Tightening torques => Page 17-1 .
