Checking combination valve

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213-

Test prerequisites

t	Vacuum pipes and hose connections free of leaks.

t	Vacuum pipes not blocked or kinked.

Test procedure

–	Detach vacuum hose from combination valve -1-.

–	Connect hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- to vacuum connection on combination valve -1-.

Note

Do not use compressed air during the following check!

–	Detach pressure hose to combination valve at connection -arrow- and blow in softly. Combination valve must be closed.

–	Operate hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213-. Combination valve must open.

If combination valve does not open:

Renew combination valve → Item.
