Installing > < Renewing bonded rubber bushes in subframe

Removing
Removing
–  Remove noise insulation.
   
–  Remove subframe bolts -1-.
–  Lower subframe by loosening bolts -2- until bonded rubber bushes are accessible.

–  Position splitter on upper half of bush.
–  Pull out upper half of bush.

–  Insert thrust plate -VW 447 H- from above.
–  Use thrust piece -VW 441- and engine and gearbox jack -V.A.G 1383 A- to push subframe up until lower half of bush falls out.
