  Note
t  To deal effectively with complaints, it is absolutely essential that the functions and operation of the radio navigation system are understood.
t  Additional information → Operation manual → No.199.
t  The anti-theft coding is a fixed code → Operating manual.
t  When retrofitting, repairing or fault finding, refer to → Self-diagnosis → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations → Fitting instructions.
t  When the battery is reconnected, check operation of electrical equipment (radio, clock, convenience electronics and so on) according to the workshop manual and/or the operating manual.
t  The use of magnetic-base roof aerials may lead to permanent magnetisation of the bodywork panels, resulting in malfunction of the navigation system. If a customer complains about imprecise or erroneous indication of direction of the navigation system, ask the customer if a magnetic-base aerial has been used before beginning repairs.
