| The radio system “Volkswagen Individual” comprises a radio unit and loudspeakers in the front and rear doors. |
| A bass loudspeaker is fitted in each of the front and rear doors. |
| A mid-range loudspeaker is fitted in each front door. |
| Furthermore, a high-range speaker is fitted in every triangular mirror cover. |
| A domed treble loudspeaker is installed in the door trim panel of each rear door. |
| A connection is also available for a telephone hands-free system. |
| The radio unit is equipped with a tuner with 4 wave bands and the tuner is also equipped with RDS for VHF reception. The final output stages of the amplifier supply 4x18 Watt to the loudspeakers. |
| The radio unit has a CD drive. This can play normal music CDs and CDs with data in MP3 format. |
