| Deactivating transport mode |
| The telematics system is not functional when the “transport mode” is switched on. This is necessary when the vehicle is transported over a longer distance or the vehicle is to be laid-up for a longer period. |
| When a vehicle is delivered to a dealership the telematics system is switched to the “transport mode”. |
| The “transport mode” must be switched of before the vehicle is delivered to the customer. This is carried out with the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051 oder VAS 5052- in the “self-diagnostic” function, address word “75 - Telematics”, function “10 - adaptation”. |
