In the armrest between the front seats there is a folding mounting for the mobile telephone.

Removing

To open the armrest the upper latch must be pushed to the left -arrow-.

If the mounting for the mobile telephone is to be folded out, press the button on the right next to the mobile telephone -arrow-.
The mobile telephone mounting with the mobile telephone can now be taken out of the bracket. To do this the mobile mounting must first be folded out.

The mounting for the mobile telephone is now folded out.

There is a small bar magnet fitted to the bracket on the mounting -arrow-.
The magnet on the bracket is necessary to activate the hands-free operation when the mobile telephone is placed on the mounting. If this magnet is lost the hands-free operation will not function.

If it is necessary to secure the magnet again the bracket -2- must be removed. To do this the two Phillips screws -1- must be removed.
To connect the mobile telephone to the VDA connector under the centre console a telephone operating electronics control unit (interface box) is necessary.

The interface box -1- has a VDA connector.
On the other end of the interface box is the connector for the mobile telephone -2-.
The wiring for the mobile telephone mounting connector runs through the centre console. The connector is engaged in the hollow recess of the centre armrest.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
