Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
  W00-0427
–  Allow wiper to move to rest position.
Driver's side:
A - 25 + 10 mm (measured at ends of wiper blade)
–  If necessary, adjust wiper arm rest position by moving wiper arm.
Removing wiper arms → Chapter.
–  Tighten all threaded connections to the specified torque settings → Chapter.

Front passenger side:
A - 25 + 10 mm (measured at ends of wiper blade)
–  If necessary, adjust wiper arm rest position by moving wiper arm.
Removing wiper arms → Chapter.
–  Tighten all threaded connections to the specified torque settings → Chapter.
