–  Use fingers to pull the damage adhesive pad off the optic module of the rain sensor.
  Caution
The optic module of the rain sensor can be damaged!
Do not use tools to pull off the adhesive pad.
Use fingers to carefully pull off the damage adhesive pad.
–  Ensure the damage adhesive pad is completely removed from the optic module of the rain sensor.
–  Then throughly clean the contact surface of the optic module with isopropanol (removing dust, finger prints, grease etc.).
