t  Engine type OK (diesel/petrol)
t  Terminal 15 (ignition) on
t  Engine revs > 400 rpm.
t  Coolant temperature < 69 °C
t  On vehicles with ECON button (depending on equipment fitted in vehicle). ECON button not pressed. Temperature selector not set to 'cold'
t  Ambient temperature < 5 °C
t  Fuel gauge not in reserve range
t  On-board network manager not active
t  No crash shut-off
t  No fault entries blocking start procedure
