Removing
–  Remove storage compartment on driver side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
–  Remove left footwell vent → Chapter.
   
–  Remove data bus diagnosis interface -J533- → Rep. gr.97.
–  Remove bolts -3- (9 ± 1.3 Nm).
  Note
t  Bolts -1- are not unscrewed.
t  Do not remove bracket -2-.

–  Press bracket -1- in direction of brake pedal -arrow- and secure it there with a cable tie.
  N87-10392
–  Pull connector off footwell vent temperature sender -G261--1-.
–  Turn left footwell vent temperature sender -G261--2- 90° and remove it from housing.
