Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Extractor tool -T20143-
  W00-2958
t  Used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782-
  W00-10211
t  Thrust piece -T10243-
Procedure
–  Remove bevel box → Chapter.
Position used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782- under gearbox.
–  Lever out seal on gearbox using puller hook -T20143/1- or -T20143/2-.
  W00-10219
–  Fill space between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Lightly oil outer circumference of oil seal.
  N32-0001
–  Carefully drive in oil seal to stop using thrust piece -T10243-.
–  Install bevel box → Chapter.
–  Check oil level and top up → Chapter.
