Breather line to protect against water ingress
Breather line to protect against water ingress
For some countries an extended breather connection is installed on the gearbox. Water ingress in the gearbox is inhibitted by the use of a plastic tube from the breather connection on gearbox to the battery housing trim.
   
1 - Battery cladding
2 - Bleed cap on breather line
3 - Breather line as a plastic tube
4 - Breather line connection on geagbox
5 - O-ring in breather line connection
6 - Pipe connection for breather line on gearbox
