Installing oil pump
   
–  Push oil pump drive shaft -A- into gearbox to stop, turning shaft slightly.
–  Always use a new metal seal -B-.
l  The 2 dowel pins -C- must be located in gearbox housing.
  Note
When fitting oil pump, observe splines of input shaft and proper seating of dowel pins.
Various bolts for oil pump -1-
  N35-10102
All 4 bolts with flat heads
Torque setting
t  5 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
  A37-0671
3 bolts with flat heads, uppermost bolt with countersunk head
Torque setting
t  Countersunk head bolt: 8 Nm without additional turn (tighten with socket -T10054-)
t  Flathead bolts: 8 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
  N34-10842
–  Set new oil pump cover -A- in place and tighten new bolts -arrows- diagonally in several stages to 8 Nm.
–  Fill with new oil and adjust correct oil level.
–  Change oil and filter for dual clutch gearbox → Chapter.
–  Install left wheel housing liner → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
–  Install noise insulation as necessary → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
