| Oil level of Haldex coupling OK. |

| Check oil level in Haldex coupling → Chapter. |

| Correct engine control unit and ABS control unit installed (check coding and control unit identification numbers). |
Caution | For reasons of safety, vehicle must be placed on lifting platform so that wheels have no contact with the ground. |
| Carry out test with care to avoid damage. |

| Depress clutch pedal, engage 1st gear and slowly "drive off". |
| All four wheels must now turn. |

| Apply handbrake or parking brake. |
| Rear wheels must stop and front wheels must continue to turn. |

| The Haldex coupling is open and function is OK. |
| Haldex coupling is closed. Possible cause of fault |
