q | Removing and installing → Chapter |
q | Sealing surface must not be reworked. |
q | With integrated camshaft bearings. |
q | Remove sealant residue. |
q | Coat with AMV 188 001 02 before fitting. |
q | When installing, insert vertically from above so that dowel pins fit into holes in cylinder head. |

q | For tensioning element and air conditioner compressor. |

q | For oil pump drive and timing chain. |
q | Contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease. |

q | To guide valve timing housing, secure sump in position with two bolts. |

21 - | Belt pulley |
q | Observe tightening procedure → Chapter. |
q | Contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease. |
q | Secure belt pulley against turning with counterhold tool -3415-. |
q | Removing and installing poly V-belt → Chapter. |
22 - | 150 Nm + 1/2 turn (180°) further |
q | Removing and installing crankshaft pulley → Chapter. |
q | Renew. |
q | Contact surface for securing bolt must be free of oil and grease. |
q | Oil threads before inserting. |
q | Secure belt pulley against turning with counterhold tool -3415-. |
q | The turning further angle can be measured with a commercial protractor. |
23 - | Bearing bush |
q | Contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease. |
24 - | O-ring |
q | Renew. |
25 - | 50 Nm |

27 - | 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further |
q | Lock chain sprockets using counterhold -T10172-. |
q | Bolt with left-hand thread. |
