From 05.2006 on the low pressure line on high-pressure pump, the pipe with banjo bolt was replaced by a hose connection with spring-type clip.
   
1 - Plunger
q   Renew if damaged.
2 - O-ring
q   Renew.
q   Before installing, moisten lightly with clean engine oil.
3 - High-pressure pump with fuel pressure regulating valve -N276-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
4 - 10 Nm
5 - Union nut
q   27 Nm
q   When loosening, counterhold threaded connection
q   Before installing, check torque of threaded connection in high-pressure pump
q   Install fuel pipe free of tension.
6 - High-pressure pipe
q   Observe safety precautions when releasing fuel pressure in high-pressure section → Chapter
7 - Threaded connection
q   Vehicles from 05.2006
q   30 Nm
q   Only renew if loosened.
q   Always leave old seal in high-pressure pump when renewing threaded connection. When initially installed at the factory, it is crushed and cannot be removed. To seal, the new threaded connection is fitted with a »grip edge«.
8 - Low pressure fuel hose
q   Vehicles from 05.2006
q   Secure with spring-type clip.
9 - Banjo bolt with conical sealing seat
q   15 Nm
q   Renew.
q   Install fuel pipe free of tension.
q   When loosening, counterhold threaded connection
q   Vehicles up to 05.2006
10 - Fuel pipe
q   Vehicles up to 05.2006
q   Low-pressure.
11 - Threaded connection
q   Vehicles up to 05.2006
q   30 Nm
q   Only renew if loosened.
q   Always leave old seal in high-pressure pump when renewing threaded connection. When initially installed at the factory, it is crushed and cannot be removed. To seal, the new threaded connection is fitted with a »grip edge«.
12 - Threaded connection for high-pressure pipe
q   40 Nm
q   Do not loosen threaded connection, only retighten
13 - Fuel pressure sender for low-pressure -G410-
q   15 Nm
14 - Seal
q   Renew.
