t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
Removing
  Note
The following procedure is for the left side of the vehicle. The procedure for the right side of the vehicle is identical.
  W00-0427
–  Remove nut -1- and pull coupling rod -2- out of anti-roll bar.
  Note
Do not loosen bolt -arrow- for track rod -3-.
  A42-0425
–  Remove bolts -arrows- for anti-roll bar clamp.
–  Remove anti-roll bar.
Installing
–  Install anti-roll bar in vehicle.
  A42-0426
–  Evenly tighten bolts -arrows- for anti-roll bar clamp.
  A42-0426
–  Connect coupling rod -2- to anti-roll bar and tighten nut -1-.
  A42-0425
Specified torques
ComponentSpecified torque
Anti-roll bar to subframe
t  Use new bolts
t  Tighten threaded connections only when vehicle is in the normal running position
25 Nm + 45°
Anti-roll bar to coupling rod
t  Use new nut
45 Nm
