Anti-theft coding
The radio navigation system is equipped with an anti-theft coding.
The anti-theft coding is activated and blocks the radio unit as soon as:
t  The voltage supply (terminal 30) drops below a predetermined voltage.
t  The radio part fuse is blown.
t  The radio unit is disconnected from the voltage supply (terminal 30) (e.g. when removing radio unit).
t  When performing work on vehicle and vehicle battery (terminal 30) has been disconnected.
After installing a new radio navigation system the anti-theft coding function must be activated → Chapter.
If a radio navigation system has been blocked by the anti-theft coding, “CODE” will appear in the display when switching the unit on.
To lift the unit lock, deactivate the unit lock via the anti-theft coding → Chapter.
