Removing and installing bonnet contact switchF266
Removing and installing bonnet contact switch -F266-
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
–  Remove the radiator grille → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
   
–  Disconnect connector near right headlight -arrow-.

–  Unscrew securing screws -1- and unclip cable retainer -2-.
–  Take lid lock out of lock carrier.
  Note
The Bowden cable can remain connected to the lid lock.

–  Release locking lug -1- and push bonnet contact switch -F266- in direction of -arrow-.
–  Take contact switch out of lid lock.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
