Removing and installing Hall sender
Removing and installing Hall sender
Fitting location → Item
–  Remove noise insulation → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.
–  Remove toothed belt → Chapter.
   
–  Release and disconnect connector -1- from Hall sender -G40-.
–  Unclip connector on the water pipe.

–  Screw off Hall sender -G40--arrow-.
  A23-0257
–  Remove webs and repair aperture cover -arrows- with a screwdriver.
–  Remove Hall sender -G40- from cylinder head and insert its connector through repair hole in toothed belt guard.
Installing
Install in reverse order. In the process, note the following:
t  Seal repair aperture in toothed belt guard with rubber plugs as specified in → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA).
–  Install toothed belt → Chapter.
