Before inserting bolts for subframe, position steering gear on subframe and insert bolts.
The threaded sleeve -1- must seat in subframe hole.
Further installation is performed in reverse order
After installing check position of steering wheel during a test drive.
If steering wheel is not in straight ahead position the front axle tracking must be checked!
Tightening torques:
Ball joint to control arm .................................................................................................................................................. 20 Nm + 90°(15 ft. lbs. + 90°)
Use new bolts!
Pendulum support to sub-frame
M 10 x 70 ..................................................................................................................................................................................... 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
M 10 x 30 ..................................................................................................................................................................................... 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Steering gear to sub-frame ............................................................................................................................................... 20 Nm + 90°(15 ft. lbs. + 90°)
Use new bolts!
Coupling rod to stabilizer bar ............................................................................................................................................................. 30 Nm(22 ft. lbs.)
