Connect VAG 1527B LED tester between Ignition Coil terminals -1- and -15- of Ignition Coil using jumper wires from VW 1594 adapter kit
WARNING
DO NOT touch the exposed parts of the Ignition Coil or jumper wires during the test that follows.

Operate Starter.
^ LED should flicker

If necessary, replace Ignition Coil Power Output Stage (N157).
