Exhaust pipe between mid muffler and rear muffler hits rear axle beam.
Heat shield for CV Joint hits vibration dampener mounted on "K" frame.
Production:
Intensified inspection of exhaust system during assembly.

Service Solution:
Align exhaust system as follows:
^
Loosen all exhaust system clamps.
^
Align exhaust system to insure proper hanger preload.
See repair manual Microfiche, Group 26.
^
Re-tighten all exhaust system clamps.
^
With one hand on mid-muffler and one hand on exhaust pipe, try to twist exhaust system.
^
If system twists, clamps have insufficient torque.
^
Retorque or replace clamps as necessary.
