A/T Shift Handle - Replacement Part/Installation

A new shift handle, for automatic transmission (010 type shift selector) is available for use as a replacement part.

Installation Procedure

Remove old handle, Part No. 447 713 139A 01C

^

Install handle (1), Part No. 357 713 139 01C on selector lever.

^

Tighten set screw to make indentation on shift selector (2) and loosen set screw.

^

Remove handle and file a flat region in selector lever (2) at location established in previous step.

^

Install handle (1) and tighten set screw to 0.8 +/- 0.2 Nm ( 0.6 in.lb.).
