Condition

Intermittently will not shift or is difficult to shift into gear.

Service Solution

Ensure that the clutch cable and shift linkage are properly adjusted and lubricated.

If OK:
Remove transmission.

Thoroughly clean main shaft splines with a wire brush.

Slightly grease with main shaft splines Moly lubricating paste/spray, Part No. G 000 100.

Install clutch disc with nickel-plated hub, Part No. 027 141 032F.
