Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair
After replacing hydraulic lifters, do not run engine for 30 minutes. This will allow lifters time to bleed down to proper adjustment.
1. Remove camshaft(s) as outlined under "Camshaft, Replace."
2. Replace defective lifter(s).
3. Install camshaft.
