Removal
NOTE:

Axle shafts with triple-rotor joints are installed on vehicles with 4-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. These joints have three offset
rollers instead of six balls. The rollers are offset 120° and installed in a triangular star carrier.

Axle shafts with triple-rotor joints are not repairable. If damaged, replace the complete axle shaft with inner joint (less outer joint).
REMOVAL
Right-Side Axle Shaft
Removal and installation is unchanged as compared to the previous axle shaft with six-ball inner constant velocity joint. Where applicable, air
deflector plate on lower control arm must be removed.
Left-Side Axle Shaft
