Always replace the securing plate on the selector lever cable.

Remove the cable from the ball head.

In order to remove the cable and/or selector mechanism, the heat shield and if necessary exhaust system components must now be removed.

Remove the heat shield.

-

Remove the selector mechanism.

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

-

Put the vehicle and the transmission in "P" before installing the cable.

-

Install the exhaust system components.

-

Install the heat shield.
