Radio, RNS 510 Screen Colors Unusual When Cold
Note:
Do not replace radio for this condition. Units replaced because of cold temperature LCD screen colors will be debited back to the dealer.
Technical Background
The LCD display and the background illumination have to reach a minimum internal operating temperature of 5° C (41° F) before the full light intensity
is achieved and the colors are correct.
