020 Transmission - first gear synchronizer (P/N: 020 311 247)
Hard shifting into first gear may occur following replacement of first gear Synchronizer. The reason for this involves a supersession that took place last
year. P/N 020 311 247 was superseded to 014 311 295D. Because of difficulties with this supersession, the parts department has placed 020 311 247
back into the parts program.

When repairing transmissions, only use the newest part number 020 311 247 for first gear synchronizer replacements.

Do not use P/N 014 311 295D.

This change will be reflected on the next parts fiche update for the above models.
