Vacuum Vent Valve: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove driver side trim cover from the instrument panel.
3.
Disconnect vent valve vacuum hose, and electrical connector.
4.
Using a needle nose pliers, remove vent valve from bushing.
5.
Start new vent valve into the bushing, pressing it by hand.
6.
Using a 10mm socket, fully seat new valve into busing.
7.
Pull brake pedal back fully to stop. The switch will automatically adjust.
