Engine Control
Intake Manifold Upper Section
The Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (# 14 in image) is located on the throttle body and operated by the throttle shaft.
The signal from the Throttle Position Sensor is equal to the throttle valve opening in degrees. The throttle valve opening information is used for idle
speed, acceleration enrichment and full throttle enrichment.
The signal from the Throttle Position Sensor is used as a substitute function for the mass air flow sensor.
