Gear Selector Switch: Description and Operation

The automatic transmission selector lever position is monitored by the CIS-E Motronic control unit. When the selector lever is in a position other than
park or neutral, the CIS-E Motronic control unit changes the output signal to the idle stabilizer valve to compensate for the additional load placed on the
engine.
