Perform this procedure on all applicable vehicle within the Limited new vehicle Warranty

RVU - Front Seat Track Lubrication (OQ)

Tip:
This Technical Bulletin is in effect for 12 months from date of publication as listed above. After that date, this Technical Bulletin will expire and no
longer be in effect. Procedure must be performed ONLY on applicable vehicles in Dealer inventory.

Requirements:

Vehicle must meet ALL of the following criteria:

1. Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the (OQ) code open on the ElsaWeb Campaign / Action Information inquiry screen on the day of

repair.

2. Vehicle must be within the Limited New Vehicle Warranty.
3. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Bulletin.

Technical Background

Insufficient lubrication on seat inner/outer rails/channels causing high sliding efforts.

Production Solution

No production change required.

Service

Input VIN into Elsa and check Campaign / Action Information inquiry screen for open Code (OQ).

Slide seat bottom forward and apply 3M Silicone Lubricant (Dry Type) Part number 051135-08897 or equivalent, -arrows-, to exposed inner and
outer track rails/channels.

Apply 3M Silicone Lubricant (Dry Type) Part number 051135-08897 or equivalent, -arrows-.

Slide seat bottom rearward and apply 3M Silicone Lubricant (Dry Type) Part number 051135-08897 or equivalent, -arrows-, to exposed inner and
outer track rails/channels.
