Mark connector -C- to control motor (danger of interchange with other connectors of same construction).

-

Remove heater core cover.

-

Disconnect electrical connection -C- from Left Temperature Flap Motor V158.

-

Remove cover -A-.

-

Remove bolts -D- and remove Left Temperature Flap Motor V158 -B-.

-

Disengage control motor lever -E- from connecting rod -F-.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

NOTE: 

-

After installing, check motor/flap function.

-

Initiate "Basic Setting" function using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051/5052 in operating mode "Guided Fault
Finding".
