High-Intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module, Removing and Installing

High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module, Removing And Installing 

NOTE:  Left High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module J343 and Right High intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module J344 is not
capable of On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

Removing: 

-

Remove headlamp.

-

Remove mounting bolts -arrows- of High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module -1-.

NOTE:  While removing High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module, no harness connectors must be disconnected. Harness connector is
installed permanently on headlamp and is automatically disconnected when removing High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module.

Remove High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module -1- from headlamp.

Installing: 

CAUTION:  Make sure seal has proper seating when installing High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module. Water intrusion will
damage headlamp. 

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Check headlamp for function.

Perform basic setting of headlamp.
