Headlamp Alignment Sensor: Removal and Replacement

Level Control System Sensor 

A vehicle level sensor is located at front axle (Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78) and (Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76) is located
at rear axle.

NOTE: 

-

If the vehicle level sensors are replaced, the values of the sensor must be checked and basic setting of headlamps must be performed.

-

If values of vehicle level sensors are outside the tolerance range, basic setting of headlamps cannot be performed.

Removing and installing Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78 

Removing: 

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Disconnect connector -arrow-.

-

Remove mounting nut -1-.

-

Remove screw -2- and remove Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78 -3-.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Tighten all threaded connections using the specified torques.

-

Check Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78.

Perform basic setting of headlamp.

NOTE:

If the vehicle level sensors are replaced, the values of the sensor must be checked and basic setting of headlamps must be performed.

If values of vehicle level sensors are outside the tolerance range, basic setting of headlamps cannot be performed.

Removing and installing Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76 

Removing: 

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
