Disengage securing clip - 2 - using a screwdriver and pull out of master cylinder until it stops.

-

Disconnect hose/line assembly - 1 - from master cylinder and plug it.

All vehicles

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 4 -.

-

Unclip Clutch Position Sensor G476 on master cylinder - arrow - and remove.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace seals.

If hose/line assembly was removed:

-

Press in hose/line assembly - 1 - with new sealing ring - 2 - to connection of master cylinder - 4 - until securing clip - 3 - engages audibly.

Verify by pulling on hose/line assembly.

Bleed clutch system.

All vehicles

-

Install battery carrier and battery.

-

Install complete air filter housing, if it is located in the vicinity of the battery.

-

Connect battery and observe work procedures for after connecting the battery.
