Clutch Slave Cylinder: Procedures

Input shaft seal

Slave cylinder with release bearing

Are one unit and can only be replaced together

Do not wash-out bearing, only wipe off

^

If bearing is noisy, replace together with slave cylinder

Divided supply line on some slave cylinders

Bolt

Qty. 3

Always replace

^

For metal slave cylinder, 12 Nm

^

For plastic slave cylinder, 15 Nm

^

Carefully tighten diagonally in small stages so that slave cylinder bolting eyelets do not break off

O-ring

^

Always replace

^

Pull onto line connection

^

Install with brake fluid
