Now remove impact bolster - 1 - in front of clutch pedal - 2 -.

-

Remove clutch pedal - 1 - from mounting bracket - 3 -, to do so, remove nut - 2 - and pull out bolt - 5 -.

Swivel clutch pedal slightly toward front and remove over-center spring - 4 - from mounting bracket.

-

Release clutch pedal from master cylinder using pliers T10005.

-

Remove clutch pedal.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Note:  Replace self-locking nut.

Install mount - 2 - on master cylinder operating rod - 1 -.

-

Press mount until it engages audibly in notch on clutch pedal.
