Bend taps - arrows - on shift mechanism base plate up with a screwdriver and remove base plate (the tabs in front area of base plate are not
shown).

Remove seal from shift housing.

Remove shift cable and selector cable from selector housing.

-

Then remove shift lever from shift lever guide.

-

To remove lock washer - arrow A - from shift lever, spacer bushing - arrow B - must be pressed in direction of - arrow C - as far as stop using a
screwdriver and then lock washer must be removed.

Note:

Do not tilt bushing when pushing down.

Groove in shift lever for lock washer must be visible.

Carefully release tension on spring.

-

Raise upper side of spring - A - over selector bracket tab.

Using a screwdriver, press bearing shell notches - arrows - in direction of shift lever guide bearing; break of notches if necessary.

Pry out bearing shell - A - with shift lever guide - B - from selector housing.
